For the past several years the United States Congress has been in a state of virtual gridlock. The legislative body has devolved into a house of constant bickering, too heavily engaged in 7th grade mentality rather than actual legislation. Perhaps they need a refresher course. One of my own personal introductions to civics took the form of School House Rock, a series of educational animated short films that provided information on a variety of subjects through creative animation and song. The video below covers the creation of a bill as well as the path taken to passage as a Law in both houses of congress. Civics made fun…who knew?
