Last year Star Wars fans were introduced to the instantly iconic droid known as BB-8. The world simply could not get enough of this little guy. Now this precocious little droid has been placed on a new mission thanks to the imaginative folks at Binx Films. The juxtaposition of BB-8 and the Star Wars universe with NYC will bring a smile to even the most disgruntled nerfherder.
The Dark Side of the Force may have descended upon the Big Apple, yet it’s comforting to know the Rebellion remains strong.

We love how the story brings a new realistic dimension into the fantasy world. Oddly enough, we think New Yorkers wouldn’t lift an eyebrow seeing BB-8, Tie Fighters, and assorted Star Wars characters milling about New York City. Just another “only in New York” moment.
