Review and Giveaway: TAGAMOTO Enforcer Road Set

At the 2013 NY Toy Fair, I had the opportunity to visit Innovation First International’s booth. I was treated to seeing the latest HEXBUG micro robot toys including the award winning HEXBUG Warriors Battling Robots Battle Station. Yet what really caught my attention was TAGAMOTO, a new series of interactive toy cars that respond to interchangeable codes placed on racetracks.

I tested out the TAGAMOTO Enforcer Road Set which comes with 2 vehicles, a police car and a red race car. Assembly of the tracks was fairly simple. Yet placement of the teeny tiny stickers on signs, toll booths, etc. was a job best left to those with small hands and a lot of patience. Also included are barcode stickers which you can place in various locations on the tracks prompting the vehicles to react in different ways such as drag racing, lights on, lights off, radio music, yielding, crashing, speeding up, etc. These stickers are not permanent and can be moved around to alter the interactions. Lastly, the cars themselves can be switched off and with a few clicks of the front wheels, used as free rolling cars on a flat surface. An ingenious addition that extends play time and saves battery life as well.

You can win your own TAGAMOTO Enforcer Road Set (MSRP $29.99) by filling out the Rafflecopter contest entry form below. Good luck!
