This particular web comic was inspired by a moment when I needed my kids to remain calm. You may be thinking that would be a fair request. Of course, the real world doesn’t always work that way. Being a kid is mostly about an endless supply of bottled up energy needing to be released to the world at large. Parents forget what’s that like, especially the sleep deprived ones. The sheer will power needed for a child (well at least my children anyway) to remain still can be nearly impossible to achieve at times. They are joyfully resilient little human beings. And I’m lucky to have them in my life.
