The Flash movie certainly has hype. In fact it appears to be more of a Batman team up movie which is never a bad thing. Michael Keaton is back reprising his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman from 1989. Understandably, fans have been ecstatic. The final trailer has dropped and it doesn’t disappoint.
More is more
Although actor Michael Keaton’s Bruce Wayne/Batman is much older in the upcoming movie, it looks like fans can expect his action sequences to level up from his original portrayal. There will definitely be callbacks to the Tim Burton era, but the storyline will be thoroughly modern for today’s audiences. The inclusion of a new take on Supergirl leaves the door open for future films. Will Kal-el/Superman make an appearance? So far the production team has provided no indication of Henry Cavill being involved. Yet this movie was produced prior to James Gunn taking over the reins at DC Studios. Expect some unrevealed surprises.

Even the most cynical among us can’t deny the potential for The Flash. The hype is real. And we are here for it. Worlds will collide starting June 16, 2023.
