We had the chance to screen a short film titled In the Wobbly Barn Place that will be making its World Premiere at the Reel Bronx International Film Festival on Saturday October 15, 2016. It’s always fascinating to check out the latest stories being told by independent filmmakers.
In the Wobbly Barn Place was produced by Hines Park Productions, a creative filmmaking team comprised of Bronx natives. Featuring a talented diverse cast, In the Wobbly Barn Place aims to captivate audiences as the mystery of the tale unfolds.
How’s the Story?
Hines Park Productions provides the following synopsis:
A woman is searching for her missing boyfriend. Heartbreak and peril ensues when a journalist comes close to unraveling the mystery.
Without giving too much away, you’re pulled immediately into an event in progress. Heavy use of flashbacks play an integral role in the telling of the story. Whenever you think you have a grasp of what’s happening, the plot takes on another twist. Overall, the movie’s a slow burn. But if you hang in until the end, it’s well worth the wait.
