Being that it is May the 4th, Disney has released a second trailer of the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series. We get the strongest indication yet that Darth Vader will be an integral part of the story.
The studio has been teasing via its social media channels that a greater reveal was coming. The trailer features more footage of the Disney Plus show’s inquisitors as well as teasing the return of Vader. There’s no actual reveal of Hayden Christensen yet. Viewers will just have to wait for the debut on May 27th.
The series is set between the events of Episode III: The Revenge of The Sith and Episode IV: A New Hope. Expect to see Obi-Wan Kenobi (reprised by Ewan McGregor) fighting to survive against threats from the Galactic Empire as well as watching over the young Luke Skywalker.
Will we see a Obi-Wan Kenobi vs. Darth Vader rematch? Good chance, there is.
