Falcon and the Winter Soldier may end up being the most well-known of the Marvel Disney+ series. Yet it won’t be for the compelling narrative. Nor will it be for the breath-taking action sequences. It will be a two second long moment in episode 3 featuring Helmut Zemo (played by Daniel Brühl) breaking it down on the dance floor in a Madripoor nightclub. Indeed, it was a moment that lead to the hashtag #ReleaseTheZemoCut which took social media by storm.
Fans worldwide could simply not get enough of Baron Zemo. They clamored for more and Marvel Studios listened. Less than a week after this moment debuted, Marvel Studios has answered the call. Marvel Entertainment posted a one-hour video featuring never-before-seen footage (approximately 30 seconds long) from the Disney+ series on repeat for the length of the video.
