
In the past, discussing Captain America comics or any superhero related topic for that matter wasn’t necessarily the coolest thing to do in grammar school. At the time, one would have been ridiculed and mockingly branded a nerd. Revisiting the subject in the present reveals a shocking paradigm shift. Mainstream pop culture and nerd culture have become synonymous. The past 10 years arguably could be classified as the Golden Age of Comic Book Movies. I never imagined my boyhood heroes would so aptly be depicted on the big screen. In fact, the recently released Captain America: Civil War may represent the pinnacle of multi-superhero comic book movies.

Spider-man, Spider-man, does whatever a spider can! The rumors that have had comic book movie fans buzzing for months are now confirmed to be true. The web-head will indeed make an appearance in Captain America: Civil War when the movies released worldwide in May 2016. The second movie trailer for the film was released today featuring new scenes from the movie as well as a nostalgic ending for all former and current underoos wearing fans. Summer 2016 is already shaping up to be a hero laden extravaganza.

A new Marvel movie trailer for Captain America: Civil War arrived to kick off Thanksgiving Day in 2015. The timing of the release couldn’t be better. Every year millions of Americans endure internal family strife in one form or another during the holiday season. Still, hope springs eternal. Movie fans can’t help feeling that despite the differences their onscreen heroes may have, they’ll emerge a more unified bunch in the end.
