So when May the Fourth rolls around on the calendar, it’s more than a big deal, it’s a bonafide science fiction nerd celebration. Here’s the scenario. The kids are off from school for Winter Break. All the “must have” Christmas presents have been opened, played with and inexplicably no longer of interest to your children. The weather outside is just too cold for hours of active play. The precocious little buggers direct their attention towards you. 2011 New York Comic Con : Day 2

My second day at the 2011 New York Comic con was radically different from the first. I arrived mid-afternoon to attend a series of panels rather than roam the main show floor. Since many intriguing panels were scheduled concurrently, I was forced to choose wisely. I decided to partake in four panels that were completely distinct in subject matter from one another.
