Man of Steel was released in 2013 to much fanfare. After all, it was the return of Superman to the big screen as well as the first entry for the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). The film was directed by Zack Snyder and written by David S. Goyer from a story by him and Christopher Nolan. Lastly, a relatively unknown British actor named Henry Cavill was slated to play the title role. The hype for the movie ran exceptionally high given the success of the critically acclaimed Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy.

Spring has arrived and so too the new DC Justice League Trailer. After the lukewarm reception to Batman V Superman, Warner Brothers Studios desperately needs a critically acclaimed hit if they hope to compete with the Marvel Cinema Universe juggernaut. The studio has promised a less dark tone than its previous attempts and from the looks of the trailer, comic relief seems to be deeply integrated into the mix. Cross your fingers DC Comics fans.

“Na-Na Na-Na Na-Na Na-Na Na…BATMAN!!!” Yes, it’s that time of year again. Today marks a DC Comics decreed day of celebration for all things related to The Dark Knight. Our favorite Caped Crusader continues to capture the imagination of generations of fans. For a hero who deliberately shuns the spotlight, Batman remains possibly the most popular superhero ever created. Calm down Superman fans, the overpowered boy scout is pretty swell too.
