New Action Figures from DC Collectibles including Batman: The Animated Series

Years ago, kids didn’t have the option to play video games. Instead, they played with super hero action figures and let their imaginations run wild. In the present, these action figures have evolved more into collectibles – a way for older fans to express appreciation for the genre as works of art. Recognizing a financially lucrative trend, Marvel, DC and others have annually produced action figures reflecting fan favorites from comic books, television, and film. This year’s Fall and Winter DC Collectibles line up taps into Batman: The Animated Series and DC Icons.

Batman Visits New York City’s Times Square

I’ve received several Public Relations invitations to media events over the years. Quite frankly, they almost never live up to the hype. But every once in awhile, you luck into something special. Yesterday I had the opportunity to hang out with the caped crusader himself, the classic TV series Batman, in New York City’s Times Square at Ripley’s Believe it or Not! Odditorium. Did I mention he drove up in the Batmobile?!! He was there to unveil Mezco Toyz new Batman Mez-itz line from the 1966-68 “Batman” TV series.
